How an electric bike became the solution for power outages.


Dat Bike, a Vietnamese electric bike company, is trying to compete with big multinationals on a start-up budget. To do so, we’ve targeted the achillesheel of EV‘s: blackouts.

With an increasingly number of them, we demonstrated our product superiority by tackling them head on by launching a unique service.


Re:Charge uses its loyal customer base to forward incoming calls from people who are experiencing difficulties during a blackout. In response the nearest Dat Biker will responds with a fully charged Dat Bike.


Since a full battery can charge appliances and lights for many hours, a singel bike can help many to continue their daily life thanks to the bi-directional charging capabilities of a Dat Bike.
